في هذا الدرس سوف أشرح عن أستعمل (حروف الجر Prepositions of time )

.Prepositions of time show the time something happens
حروف الجر تظهر الوقت شيء (ما) حدث (وقع).
For example:على سبيل المثال
I get up at 7.00" shows the time I get up"
" ينهض فى 7.00 يظهر الوقت ينهض فى .
.Some of the most common prepositions of time are: in, on, at, from, to
الأكثرية شيوعا هي حروف الجر من الوقت : are: in, on, at, from, to

For example:على سبيل المثال

.Compare: I sleep in the afternoon
.compare : أنا أنام بعد الظهر
.But: I sleep at night
.but : أنا أنام في ليل
From - to

From and to are) used to show the start and end of a defined period of time)
( From ,and ,to ,are)تستعمل في بداية ونهاية فترة محددة من الزمن.
For example:على سبيل المثال
. I work from 9.00 to 5.00
أنا أعمل من 9.00 الى 5.00

. Our vacation is from January 5th to February 1st
تبدآ إجازة (عطلة) من كانون الثاني / يناير من الخامسة الى اول شباط

ملاحظة :
يستعمل حرف الجر since مع الأزمنة التامة Perfect Tenses مثل المضارع التام Present Perfect Tense أو الزمن الماضي التام Past Perfect Tense ويجب ملاحظة أن حرف الجر for أيضا يستعمل مع الأزمنة المذكورة هنا، إلاّ أن since تكون متبوعة بنقطة بداية الحدث point of time مثل "السنة الماضية last year"" ، "سنة 1990 " ولكن for تكون متبوعة بفترة زمنية period of time مثل " سنتين two years، ثلاث ساعات three hours "
لم أر أحمد منذ سنة 2004 I have not seen Ahmed since 2004
لم أر أحمد لمدة سنتين I haven't seen Ahmed for two years
